چکیده
Multi-carrier transmission may be considered one of the important developments in wireless communications. Spectrally efficient frequency division multiplexing (SEFDM) is a promising multi-carrier modulation which can significantly improve utilization spectral. The SEFDM has high peak to average power ratio (PAPR) like any multicarrier system. High PAPR reduces random forest (RF) transmitter amplifier efficiency, minimize use this technique limited supply transmitters. In work, repeated clipping and filtering method introduced reduce with minimum or no out band radiation. results simulated approach show that was reduced from 16.264 dB 7.9146 marginal degradation system performance when varied 4 2.

Peak to Average Power Ratio Reduction in OFDM System by Clipping and Filtering
This paper results clipping and filtering technique for peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). Our simulation results show that this technique removes inband and out of band distortion along with 1dB reduction in peak to average power ratio when crest ratio changes from 1.4 to 1.2. KeywordsClipping, Crest ratio, Orthogonal frequency di...
متن کاملThe Combination of Clipping and Filtering with Selective Mapping Methods for Peak to Average Power Ratio Reduction in Ofdm
The high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) is a serious drawback of the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM). In this paper, the advantages of two different approaches to PAPR reduction are exploited in order to reduce the PAPR more significantly. The first approach is based on clipping and provides a high PAPR reduction at the cost of signal distortion. The second approach (selectiv...
متن کاملPeak to Average Power Ratio Reduction of Ofdm Signal by Combining Clipping with Walsh Hadamard Transform
Wireless communications have been developed widely and rapidly in the modern world especially during the last decade. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) has grown to a popular communication technique for high speed communication. Besides of the advantages, one of main disadvantage of OFDM is high peak to average power ratio (PAPR). In this paper, a PAPR reduction method is propos...
متن کاملPeak to Average Power Ratio Reduction of OFDM Signal byCombining Clipping with Discrete Cosine Transform-II
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a very attractive digital transmission method developed to meet the increasing demand for higher data rates in communications which can be used in both wired and wireless environments. OFDM consist of large number of independent subcarriers, as a result of which the amplitude of such a signal can have high peak values. High peak to average po...
متن کاملPeak to average power ratio reduction of OFDM signals using peak reduction carriers
A technique is described for a better than 5 dB reduction in the Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of an OFDM signal. The optimal amplitude and phase of additional peak reduction carriers (PRC) is obtained using a codebook, which is obtained using a search of all possible signal combinations.
